We’re a small, family-run team of five who built PetAmaze from nothing, guided by our own dogs and their unique needs.
I’m Paulo, with my wife Alexandra, my sister Tania and her husband Craig, and our cousin Andre.
PetAmaze began the way many real dog care experiences do: at home, after another mealtime, when Nina (our Miniature Dachshund) expertly spotted the hidden tablet in her food and spat it out on the floor. We laughed, then sighed, and finally admitted that we needed something better - something our dogs would choose.
Our pack kept us honest. Joey and Bali, Craig & Tania’s rescue duo, arrived with delicate tummies and big feelings. Chiquita, Andre’s lovable 9-year-old Chihuahua, has since passed, but she always reminded us that a good routine beats quick fixes. Between post-op worries, fussy eating and calming anxious rescues, we wanted daily care that was clear, doable and, frankly, dog-approved. So we started sketching ideas at the kitchen table and turned them into a plan.
